Hey, I’m Megan Raye.
Art has been a part of my life since I could hold a crayon. One of my earliest treasures is my late grandmother's coffee cup, adorned with a scribble I created at just five years old, proudly labeling me as “The Artist.” Throughout school, art was my sanctuary, the one subject that brought me comfort and joy.
I earned an Associate’s degree in Fine Arts from Northern Michigan University, where I discovered my passion for oil painting. Over the past decade, I’ve honed my skills in oils and acrylics, even dabbling in watercolor. My artistic journey is inspired by the love and connection we share with our furry family members. Creating pet portraits is my way of giving families a lasting piece of their beloved companions, offering joy in life’s tender moments.
My style continues to evolve as I seek new techniques and strive to balance a realistic yet painterly approach. I currently work out of De Pere, WI, where the outdoors serves as a constant source of inspiration. Surrounded by nature, I find creativity in my hobbies—camping, hiking, and kayaking—which also influence my nature-inspired work.
Through my art, I aim to bring warmth, emotion, and connection to those who view it, blending passion and purpose into every piece I create.
